Easter Baskets

Happy Easter! With this being our first Easter together, Phil and I didn't really have a whole lot going on but I did make us some Easter Baskets. I took some pictures so you can all see! Next year I'm going to grow real grass in them so I don't have to deal with that messy Easter grass stuff. :)

Even I'm impressed with these... I didn't know cookies could be that color. -They aren't chocolate by the way... Haha!!

Its that time again.. New hair!!

Every winter I get bored with my hair and usually I chop it off, but this year I'm not letting myself! So I colored it instead!!! Here's the Pics!

New Apartment... FINALLY!!

Well it certainly took long enough, but I finally took pictures of our new place! We love it here and hope to live here for a few years. PS- I got a little camera happy.

Summer Vacation!!!

Phil and I will be continuing school and work through the summer this year so planning a summer vacation became a little difficult. So we have decided to take a little vacation the week after finals but before summer semester starts. We are going to drive to St George for a night and then continue on to spend a few days in Las Vegas. We're going to see some shows and take lots of pictures and each all sorts of yummy food!! I can't wait!!!

Phil's Birthday

On January 19th , Phil turned 23. Now he's an old man. Ha! We celebrated by driving down to Farmington and spending the day with family and friends. It was a lot of fun! I gave him a Playstation 3 with some games. He was a little surprised to say the least!

Learning to Cook....Part 2

I don't know if this should actually be considered learning to cook so much as forgetting how to cook. I used to make fudge all the time but hadn't made it in some time. So for Christmas, Alex asked if I'd bring fudge. I didn't think it'd be that big of deal so I told him sure thing. Well apparently I had forgotten how to make it because when I tried it turned out horrible!!! It was super gross and the wrong consistency. So i tried again...and again... and again.. Finally after the fourth try, I asked my mom what I was doing wrong. Turns out that when the recipe calls for a can of milk it wants evaporated milk, not sweetened condensed...oops. So on the fifth try it finally worked- Easy as Pie! I don't know if I'm getting better with practice when it comes to cooking but luckily Phil doesn't mind me making a mess of the kitchen in order to try making things I manage to burn or cook wrong. Thanks babe!!
