Putting up the Tree

We had lots of fun decorating the tree. Phil originally wanted to wait til after Thanksgiving but I got too excited! We're both pretty excited for Christmas though!

Learning to Cook...

Ok so not everything can be made just by following a recipe. Last night I decided to try making Buffalo Wings. I found a recipe online and got all the stuff to make it. It looked like it would take about a hour, so an hour before Phil got off work I started. Turns out I missed the part of the recipe that said to refrigerate for an hour. Oops. So I informed Phil that dinner would be late, which of course he was super sweet about. So after refrigerating for an hour and then cooking for 45 minutes (by now its like 10:30) I took the chicken out of the oven and we sat down to eat. Phil grabbed one only to find they were still totally uncooked in the middle. So basically we put them back in the oven and had a wonderful dinner made up of a Wendy's salad and kids meal. I have a feeling this isn't the last time this is going to happen... But it made for an interesting night.

Our First Apartment

We are going to be moving in a couple weeks but we want to make sure we blog about our first apartment together before we do!

Halloween!

This was our first Halloween together so we decided to celebrate by carving a pumpkin... even if we didn't get to carving it until a few days into November...
